Welcome to Great Falls Middle School

Welcome to the online home of Great Falls Middle School, home of the Hawks. We are a small school, offering individualized instruction to every sixth through eighth grade student who walks through our doors. Our school is located in the scenic upper Pioneer Valley, just minutes from the Connecticut River.

Our teachers, staff, and students are dedicated to excellence in everything we do, from core classes and preparation for high school and beyond to athletics and extra-curricular activities. We hope you will stick around and read more about us and our news and events!

A Message from our Principal

Dear Students, Parent/Guardians, and Community:

Welcome to Great Falls Middle School! Our student-centered approach to the middle grades offers many pathways to growth and success. We have a knowledgeable and dedicated faculty and staff; excellent facilities; and a variety of curricular, extra-curricular, and athletic programs. We know how to help middle school students thrive!

We encourage parent/guardian involvement in all aspects of school life. Please contact our office to find out how you can support your child’s education. Whether through sporting events, the arts, or general volunteer assistance, there are many ways for you to get involved.

My door is always open should you have questions or concerns. I look forward to working with you and the entire GFMS community in 2017-2018 and beyond.

Sincerely,

Annie Leonard
